  • Teacher Instructions
    1. Teachers should teach the use of the 'This PC' icon and the Task Manager window.
    2. Teachers should make sure that students open more than one application at the same time, so they can see the RAM allocation and CPU usage.
    3. Teachers should explain terms such as RAM, CPU and operating system.
    4. Teachers should also explain how to find this information using Speccy.
    5. POINTS TO PONDER: Ask students to think about how the computer does its job. Then explain how apps are loaded from storage to memory and then the CPU executes instruction by instruction the various steps in the app. While doing that read and write from another area in the memory.
